Position Overview: The Software Engineer will take an active role in the design and development of Secura, an enterprise server based product used to enroll, vet, manage, and issue documents to enrollees and citizens for large government based programs.

Responsibilities
? Designs and develops software; collaborates on system architecture.
? Works with Senior developers using Agile processes, and software tools and platforms.
? Collaborates with development and quality assurance teams and be self-motivated.
? Maintains a broad perspective and anticipates future challenges and opportunities.
? Displays an understanding of the functioning of other departments within the organization.
? Has excellent follow-through, creative approaches to solving problems and exercises thoughtful risk-taking.

Basic Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree
? 2-5 years experience in software development
? 2+ years experience in Java/J2EE (Java 5/6) and C# ASP.NET application programming
? Strong object-oriented design/ development applying design patterns
? Experience with Agile processes, methodologies, and tools
? Experience developing a commercial/ external software product

Preferred Qualifications
? Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
? Experience with Application security design, workflow engines, portal development, LDAP or build-deploy infrastructure tools is a plus
