Position Overview:

The student information system (SIS) specialist maintains a complex database and student information system, performing the following functions -- access, store, and retrieve data, set up and maintain database files, produce a variety of reports from the database. The SIS specialist coordinates and provides training activities with departmental users and produce necessary documentation.

Assistant Registrar and Enrollment Service Manager

Essential Duties:

? Assist with implementation of student information system.
? Maintain clean data in the student information system.
? Maintain accurate documentation regarding SIS functions, operating procedures, and the dissemination of updates to users, coordinate and provide training activities with key users when necessary.
? Responsible for security functionality of software within the student information system by maintaining staff and Student accounts security. Correct all deficiencies through joined efforts with DKU IT and/or outside support services teams as needed.
? Co-Lead the design, installation, testing and implementation of solutions needed for access, applications, and security issues related to student information systems.
? Assist in assigned activities related to student enrollment procedures, pre-enrollments, student attendance categories, transcripts and/or program components including but not limited to compliance, critical timeliness, student dropouts, and graduation rates for the purpose of ensuring compliance with regulatory and/or administrative requirements.
? Design, direct, and conduct the university’s compliance with reporting required by regulatory authorities.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.
? Other tasks as assigned.
? University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.


Qualification:

? Bachelor’s Degree in information systems user support/training, database systems, or relevant work experience.
? Two or more years of experience working directly with information systems.
? Demonstrated competence in administrative software and database systems support and management/setup/maintenance/interfacing to include student records and other database systems.
? Experience working in higher education or student information system is a plus.
? Ability to work effectively in a team and to work independently
? Highly organized with ability to multi-task
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English. 举报 分享
