Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

A.Engineering & Project Management >Manage Engineering team & people development; >Lead engineering controls including drawing control, ECNs, engineering instructions, etc.; >Implement and maintain engineering functions in Oracle system including item maintenance, BOM, costing, etc.; >Prepare and maintain Price Books to support Inside Sales; >Lead DMP, NPI, and TOW projects; >Contact with Global Product Line Engineering Departments to resolve drawing issues and technical issues. B.Support on Assoco/project/MRO sales >Review customer specifications, sizing reports and verify the special requirements; >Communicate with sales and application engineer on the project quotation and order processing; >Clarify engineering requirements to related departments for project orders; >Load order requirements into Oracle; >Prepare Unit Tickets, Test Report, ITP according to sales orders; >Technical support to MRO replacement valves and parts. C.Support to Production >Clearly understand customer requirements and guide Production to meet the requirements; >Release routings including special requirements to Production for each work order; >Prepare and explain work instructions with regard to assembly and testing, painting, etc. to Production; >Monitor assembly & test processes to ensure work instructions are followed; >Help Production to resolve quality issues and improvement; >Support product trainings. D.Support to Quality >Support Quality on ISO, ASME, PED, CQSIQ certifications; >Participate in MRB meetings and provide engineering support on quality issues; >Technical support on FA inspection and approval. E.Support to Sourcing >Release and training of engineering work instructions to suppliers; >Provide suppliers the special requirements of suffixed parts in Chinese format; >Communicate with suppliers and get clarification regarding to drawing issues; >Technical support on PPAP orders. F.Others >Other assignments from Operation Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

•College graduate in Mechanical major. Advanced engineering degree is preferred.•10+ years working experience in engineering of mechanical manufacturing operations. Strong understanding of engineering control and code compliance is a must.•Hands-on skills in supporting highly engineered products in energy industry. •Familiar with the codes related to valve industry, such as NB, ASTM, ANSI, ASME, API, PED, CQSIQ, etc.•Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of staff. •Good in coordination, project management and team work.•Matured, patient and detail-oriented.•Good command of English and well communication skill.•Good knowledge of AUTOCAD and PC Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Outlook, IE, etc.)
