About Valuations
Our Valuations Team provide a complete range of services from business valuation, option valuation, intangible asset valuation and other valuation advisory services. We advise on defining, determining and enhancing business value for our clients when they are considering corporate transactions, capital investments and shareholder value management issues. We bring in-depth knowledge in the following fields:
-Financial reporting valuations opinions or advice under US GAAP, local GAAPs, IFRS and other local regulatory requirements
-Non-financial reporting valuation opinions or advice of businesses and/or assets
-Advice and/or opinions related to investment appraisals and capital allocation decisions
-Advice and/or opinions related to competition regulation and merger economics
-Long-term economic reviews and/or projections of markets or industries
Job Description & Responsibilities
1. Conduct valuation reviews on investment and other job assignments when required
2. Begin to build an internal network of contacts, e.g., business and community, cross-functional, cross-LoS
3. Prepare concise, well written documents using appropriate business and technical language.
4. Demonstrate behaviours such as teamwork, knowledge sharing, maintaining relationships, living the Firm’s values, etc.
5. Participate in project planning, administration and economics, e.g., budgeting, staffing, billing and time analysis.Delegate tasks; prioritizes and manages assignments of self and others with a focus on completion within budget. Elevate issues to project leadership.
Requirements
1. University graduates with degree of Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent degree.
2. CPA/CFA or equivalent qualification;
3. One to five years relevant experience in preferably valuation/financial analysis, or accounting and audit areas;
4. Excellent research, financial modelling and financial analytical skills;
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
6. Team players, who work effectively under pressure;
7. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both spoken and written are essential; Experience in intangible assets valuation and purchase price allocation will be a plus.
