Position overview:
Establish relationships with a set of strategic Independent Software Vendors (ISV) to increase revenue through the connection of the company's equipment to a broader set of business solutions. Gain a deep understanding of the ISV's business priorities, establish a winning solution for enhanced end customer satisfaction and formalize partnerships. Build relationships and work day to day with partners to drive revenue through the company's channels of distribution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an active project pipeline of Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partnerships and alliance, and manage through to closure.
Engage ISVs targets to develop new solutions within software application solutions.
Maintain knowledge of ISV partner landscape, key regional business imperatives and development of opportunity plans for targeted territories.
Optimize and maintain relationships with key decision makers within ISV targets so that the ISVs perceive the company's products and services as a strategic part of their solution portfolio in meeting their customers' current and future business needs and requirements.
Maintain close communication with current regional sales teams-providing regular updates to sales teams on opportunities for partner to partner connection.
Provide day to day support of ISV partnerships, including management of technical connection to the company's products through ISV infrastructure.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BS/BA degree
Minimum 5 years working experience in the software/hardware industry
Demonstrated business partnering and alliance relationship management skills
Business development program building and execution
Prior work experience with ISVs/SIs, and large enterprise alliances such as IBM, Motorola and Honeywell
Demonstrated experience driving cross functional team initiatives
Motivated and self-directed professional with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Professionalism and ability to interact with senior leadership
