Our Internal Firm Services (IFS) is a network of specialist support professionals who play a vital role in ensuring we have all the right resources, services and technology. Not all of us work directly with external clients. Our teams in IFS include: Administration, Branded Merchandise, Business Development, Finance, Global PwC Experience, Global Technology Solutions, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Office of General Counsel, Research, and Senior Partner Office.




Responsibilities:

Our Human Capital professionals drive the firm’s people strategy, create a unique people experience, and work with the business to drive success in the marketplace. Human Resources support our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.
The Assurance Line of Service (LoS) HR is an HRBP team delivers superior human capital services in support of our internal clients’ business objectives and consistently with our Firm policies and values across Mainland China and Hong Kong. The Assurance HR Officer/Senior Officer is based in Shanghai and provides support to both daily operations in the Central market and initiatives across China/Hong Kong in order to support the business and helps the firm to deliver on its strategy.


The Assurance HR Officer/Senior Officer will:

· Work with the HR Leadership and other HR teams, Assurance leader and managers to implement our people strategy and priorities
· Be a business advisor on people-related issues for Assurance
· Provide effective people management guidance, coaching and tools to assist Assurance leaders in sustaining people development and employee relationship
· Work with the other Assurance HR team members to implement various people initiatives to enable the business and people strategy, such as people surveys, people engagement initiatives, performance and talent management, annual review process, sourcing initiatives and any other national projects
· Work closely with campus recruitment team for graduates and internship recruitment
· Support various HR projects and transformation initiatives led by HR leadership
· Conduct exit interviews for leavers and bring the insights to enhance the people strategy
· Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to Assurance team lead and managers



Reporting Structure & Key Relationships:

Report to Senior Manager (Central Region)
Key relationship: Assurance Leadership and business unit leaders, Human Resources Leadership, Human Resources Teams, and other supporting functions across China/Hong Kong




Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm
· Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with clients and other HR professionals from different background and grades
· Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills
· Demonstrates ability to manage various priorities with agility and flexibility
· Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner with cross-functional teams
· Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines while maintaining quality of work delivered
· Ability to solve problem independently and consult with teams and leaders on more difficult issues
· Open to learn and is comfortable to work in a changing environment
· High proficiency in verbal and written English
· Proficient in MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
