Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Ensure operation in accordance to the Customer Product Quality process within the region. Understand the customer requirements, requests and expectations and communicate these to internal stakeholders.
Provide customer support and be the daily product quality interface towards customers on quality claims and issues.
Be the quality liaison between customers and global TE.
Take the full responsibility to manage and take action on customer claims in the region in a timely manner with high quality.
Examine returned products to determine extent of issue and determine root cause by applying problem solving techniques (8D, 5-why, FMEA etc.) and advanced statistical methods.
Actively participate in the execution of customer projects in line with ISO/TS 16949 standard and contribute to integration of project quality at each step of the project execution process .
Support customer projects on tests, qualification, documents and compliance certificate to secure project success.
Present historical claim- and failure mode data as input to engineering changes and Gate projects to ensure continuous improvement.
Develop reports on product PPM levels, failure modes in internal production and from customer claims and making this available for the quality network, product managers, project managers and other relevant internal stakeholders.
Implement and follow up supplier management policy and strategy to maximize customer satisfaction and meet their quality requirements.
Requirements
BSc/ MSc in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics).
Min. 3 years of relevant experience, preferable from customer claims handling within the automotive industry or similar.
Experience in production of mechanical components and/or electronics.
Experience with plastic, molding, rubber and electronics or mechanical are beneficial.
Familiar with failure analysis technology and quality tools such as FTA, 8D, 5-why, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC.
Good command of MS Excel.
Fluent in English (English is the working language). Other language skills are appreciated.
Readiness for frequent trips visiting customers and vendors.
Personal qualities
Self-reliant and likes to take initiative.
Result-orientated and focused towards defined goals.
Structured and systematic working methods.
Analytical, sees solutions and suggests improvements based on analysis.
Pay attention to details.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
