Reports To: Dept. Manager

Job Summary

Manage all aspects of purchasing to efficiently support organizational operations.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Establish and implement purchasing procedure, process and best practice to better serve daily business

2. Well organize buyer team and monitor ongoing compliance with purchase procedure and process

3. Deliver training and coaching to buyers to help them improve competence

4. Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreements

5. Measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost and delivery performance

6. Troubleshoot delivery and cost concerns

7. Work with relevant functions to manage inventory

8. Facilitate timely placement of purchase orders

9. Performance manage, develop and motive buyers

10. Risk purchasing price approval

11. Continuously improve purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions

12. Achieve and complete tasks from Manager, and arrange tasks to buyers

13. Perform all other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

1, College degree in business, materials management, operations management, engineering or related field

2, experience in purchasing or procurement

3, supervisory experience

4, working knowledge of project management principles and practices

5, Strong communication, negotiation and network skills

6, Knowledge of purchasing and supplier chain system, Lean principles of planning and MRP/ERP systems often required

7, High competency level in MS office applications

6; 6 years’ of related experience in Purchasing roles, 3 years’ purchasing management
