Gibson Overseas is a reputable third generation mid-size company based in Los Angeles, celebrating its 37 years of success. A dinning and kitchenware producer, a leader in everyday dinnerware and with a growing influence in the cookware & cutlery markets. Engaged in business with most key US as well as many international retailers. The design and product development teams play an important role in the style and fashion leadership and its customer attraction.
 
We are seeking a FULL TIME Surface and Pattern Designer based in Shenzhen, China. Only local candidates will be considered.
 
Candidate requirements: a portfolio demonstrating surface design capability. An “up-dated traditional” style of design, an eye for the “commercialized” needs of the market, experienced within the consumer goods industry. Proficient in design software including Photoshop and illustrator. Duties include various surface design timely project completions, based on the needs of the company. Painting skills will be an added plus. Need a high energy creative individual for a fast paced environment. Multi-tasking position with emphasis on details and meeting deadlines.
 
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast paced creative environment or design studio. Degree in graphic design and/or Fine Art is required.
