职位描述：
Role Title: Senior Account Manager Southern China
Product Group: Rio Tinto Iron Ore
Reports to: General Manager Pacific Sales
Location: Shanghai

The purpose of the role:
To lead Rio Tinto’s commercial relationships with Chinese customers for iron ore to ensure full sales contract performance.
The core activities of the role will include:
? Implement agreed customer relationship plans, and maximise the value of RTIO Asia’s contractual relationships in the China market.
? Ensure excellence in the performance of approved contracts with Southern Chinese LTC steel mill customers.
? Explore, in conjunction with Technical Marketing, potential opportunities with new and existing customers for a larger sales volume and / or better margins.
? Ensure compliance for all aspects of the sales and marketing team.
? Lead junior managers and a group of professionals by developing departmental plan, and business / organisational priorities.
? Manage team knowledge levels, identify areas for growth and development where possible, and nurture a performance-driven sales and marketing culture.
Qualifications:
? Discipline in marketing, business management, economics, finance, geosciences or engineering
? Strong business acumen
? Strong people management skills
? Highly developed interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills
? Change management capability in challenging business environment
? Understanding of Steel Industry, mining and/or international shipping industry is preferred
? Experience in L/C and cargo/scheduling handling
? Excellence communication skills in a dynamic organisation
? High view and insight on the iron ore market with logical analysis
? Fluency in Mandarin and English
