REPORTS TO: Finance Manager, MBSE
SUPERVISES:
As a team leader, 5+ people will report to her/him in terms of accounting function.
CONTACTS: Position primarily interacts with internal Molex personnel over a wide range of levels ranging from a staff level up to a VP (VP Finance, Division). The information exchanged in these interactions is typically financial in nature and at times can be deemed moderately complex. As an example, the accounting practices for bank, fixed assets, costing / inventory, ICAR, general / special accruals, BPC data etc.... Conversations with outside consultants would be deemed medium in complexity. If the information exchange gets to be overly complex or complicated, the accounting manager would step in. Decision making authority has been selectively delegated to the Supervisor role depending on financial risk.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
- Ensure the validity, correctness, completeness, and professional documents of accounting in scheduled timetable;
- Improve the existing accounting process and uphold the high standards on accounting performance indication.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Overview the responsible functional accounting work such as bank, fixed assets, costing / inventory, ICAR, general / special accruals, BPC data etc., and also to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial positions and incoming statement on a periodical basis and be in scheduled timetable, entity by entity, total 10+ entities;
2. Oversee the processing and supervise the team’s measures/performances, including support team member hiring, training, supervising, and directing workflow.
Monitor and benchmark team performance to stated goals.
3. Reviews and reconciles the general ledger; prepare quarterly financial packages and provide commentary as required, entity by entity, total 10+ entities; As a general rule, any accounting transaction greater than USD 20K is reviewed by Supervisor or Accounting Manager before posting.
4. Provides functional FP&A support to the entities / divisions on an as need basis (for example, we have certain areas of expertise such as the accounting for bank, fixed assets, costing / inventory, ICAR, BPC data, etc)
5. Interface with internal customers and assist them with inquiries.
6. Assist the accounting manager with internal and external audit requests. Interact with internal and external auditors; provide clarification on those items requiring additional support.
7. Heads- up and support MBSE management team on both of technical and procedure problems related to accounting work.
8. Lead the optimization projects with the goal to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness within MBSE.
9. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

SCOPE:
As a team leader provide accounting functional work such as bank, fixed assets, costing / inventory, ICAR, general / special accruals, BPC data etc., and also to manage the financial statements for multiple (10+) entities which are independent local reporting units with $150M+ annual revenue (per entity):
- G/L accounting (US GAAP)
- Monthly reconciliation work and OIM clearing
- Recognize and measure the related tax and treasury matters (e.g. hedge accounting and intercompany loan) by Molex entities.
- Identification and implementation of projects that drive efficiencies and cost out of the organization.
- Operates in a high pace environment requiring a high degree of autonomy.
- SOX and Statutory audit
- PRC reports and corporate tax package if apporpriate

EDUCATION & Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
PREFERRED:
? Master’s degree in Accounting
? CPA is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
? 7+ years accounting experience
? 2+ year managerial experience
? Experience within a high paced multi-national environment is a plus.
PREFERRED
? Share service experience is preferred.
