PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As Supply Quality & Development Engineer, you will be in charge of the development & qualification of supplier manufacturing process as well as Project Management & Zero Defect Delivery. Your job or task will cover but not be limited to the followings:
1. Drawing Interpretation and manufacturing engineering feasibility evaluation for local production or sourcing in Asian LCC;
2. Development & Assessment of Manufacturing, Debarring and Gaging Process (PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Work or Inspection Instruction) with potential suppliers;
3. Develop, evaluate and manage APQP/PPAP, audit and qualify supplier’s Manufacturing, Debarring, Cleaning, Gaging and Packing process;
4. Hands‐on implement source inspection / cause detection and statistical inference for Prototype/OTS samples, PPAP and Run@Rate, train and help supplier to improve key process;
5. Capability by ANOVA and DOE;
6. Follow up 8D actions and closing audit / source inspection findings, conduct yearly supplier;
7. performance appraisal and motive supplier continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery;
8. process development and management performance;
9. Coordinate and push project moving forward between local suppliers and global assembly plants, keep project on schedule as well as ensure zero‐defect & on‐time delivery by high‐performance utilization of resources;
10. Perform other duties as assigned from Supplier Quality Supervisor.

REQUIRED EDUCATION BACKGROUND, KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor Degree or higher, major in material, mechanical, hydraulic automation or industry engineering;
2. Die casting and High‐precision machining knowledge and experience;
3. at least 3‐year technical or precision engineering (like die casting, machining, deburring and cleaning) as well as GD&T measurement and micro‐burr evaluation experience;
4. 2 ‐ 5 years and more supplier quality, development and project management experience in the automotive industry;
5. In‐depth application experience in source inspection and QS9000/TS Big 5 Tools;
6. In‐depth experience TQM, Six‐sigma or Lean Thinking;
7. Knowledge of automotive ISO/TS & G D&T standards, APQP, SPC, MSA and PPAP procedure;
8. Very experienced user of Microsoft Office package;
9. Hands‐on and proactive mentality;
10. With strong work spirit;
11. Good coordination and communication skill;
12. Good organizing and planning skills;
13. Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin;
14. Fluent in written and spoken English;
15. Excellent interpersonal skills;
16. Strong self‐initiator;
17. Confident;
18. Assertive;
19. Willing to live and work in Changshu;
