Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Primary T&Cs reviewer for L2 proposals and provides support to Commercial Managers for L3 project proposals during the R2. • Regular contact with legal departments and ability to communicate needs, risks and advice on risk mitigation options concisely and accurately to senior leadership is mandatory. • Reviews all commercial contract documents on key projects/flow orders and prepares internal instructions in sufficient detail to ensure that all internal departments have a complete understanding of the commercial contractual requirements affecting their area of responsibility. • Ensure that all deviations from GE standard terms for L2 projects/flow orders are approved and are in compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA)/SAM (Signature Authority Matrix)/Risk Review Checklist (RRC). • Compilation of proposal, supporting documentation, risk reviews, reviews, cycle commitments and obtain necessary approvals through CRBs per established Delegation levels before submitting proposals to customer. • Support achievement of ITO Team metrics related to orders, margins. Proposal cycle and Quality. • Review Customer Purchase Orders to Ensure Compliance with Approved Price Levels, Terms and Cycle commitments etc to coordinate R3 Hand off to Project Execution teams • Provide PO Acceptance/Acknowledgment to customer with right language and terms. • Review and negotiate all contract T&Cs taking advice on technical aspects from Application Engineers. Work with account manager for formal communication with customers during both ITO and OTR phases.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree related to Commercial Management and/or Contract Law and/or an appropriate Engineering Discipline from an accredited university or college • At least 5 years of experience in successful Sales negotiation or close equivalency with the ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions, negotiate contracts , and deal effectively with customers • Domain knowledge of power industry and related technologies • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs • Strong influencer • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English and Mandarin • Creative solution and problem solving skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to multitask and work flexible hours
