Job Description.

Position: Supplier Quality Manager

Summary:

Under the direction of Asia shared service senior supply chain manager and corporate global supplier QA director in order to meet the corporate goals in area of supplier management. To continuously improvement the supplier quality performance and to standardize Asia supplier management metrics and tool by aligning with global team is the key focus for this position and SQE team.

Responsibility:
1.To work with global team modify or refine the Processes and Procedures in relates to supplier quality management.
2.To monitor, maintain and improve the supplier’s performance, in terms of quality, delivery collaboration and continuous improvement.
3.To direct the SQE team on daily routines in order to meet the supplier management goals.
4.Make the on-site inspection for all parts (including First Article Inspection parts) before shipment, approval the relevant documents to ensure it meets the corporate quality goals.
5.Provide technical support and guidance on problems solving for supplier quality issues, review and approve supplier's corrective actions to improve the quality.
6.Work with suppliers on cost reduction projects and driving the continuous improvements.
7.Review and approve initial samples of parts from suppliers. Work closely with stakeholders of different BU within group for supplier qualification, tooling qualification and parts qualification.
8.Audit regularly (or as required) the quality systems and production processes of suppliers in China.
9.Assist in developing partnership with suppliers in China, and provide assistance to improve performance of suppliers.
10.Develop supplier to meet company’s expectation in the areas of quality, manufacturing and process, etc.
11.Assist all other supply chain requests and activities.
12.Others job related to Supplier Quality Management area assigned by supply chain manager.

Qualification:
1.BS degree with engineering background, MS prefer.
2.Fluent English communication skill both in oral and written are must.
3.8+ Years Manufacturing/Supplier Quality Experience, 5+ Years Manager Experience
4.5+ Years Auditing experience to ISO9001, TS 16949 or similar standard
5.Expert knowledge of mechanical parts, such as sheet metal, machining and casting, and its manufacturing process and measurement.
6.At least some exposure to the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process or similar.
7.Good structured technical problem solving experience (Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, or similar)
8.Automotive, Compressor or Pump industries’ experience is a plus.
9.Travel frequency is about 50% to 70% of time working with suppliers. 举报 分享
