Job description

- Participate on product development through methods DFM&A and FMEA
- Supervise on FMEA of tool design on supplier side
- Participate and supervising technical solution of tools, getting advice to suppliers of tools
- Give to supplier an approval of tool design
- Ensure an agenda about tool development, check of tool development timing plan fulfillment
- Review feasibility of tool modification
- Review of tool life time
- Solve a technical issues during tool development
- Realize other tasks of superior.
- Collaborate with departments of purchasing, quality and key account managers

Specific skills including the required level of knowledge

- knowledge and experience in die casting of zinc parts, parameters of die casting, mechanical feature of zinc alloy
- knowledge and experience in die casting of plastic parts, parameters of plastic die casting, mechanical feature of plastic materials
- knowledge of mould tool design for zinc die casting and plastic casting
- knowledge of machines used for zinc and plastic die casting
- knowledge of software for support in foundry branch, ability to evaluate the results from this software (Mould Flow analyse)
- knowledge of quality control in foundry branch
- ability to work according to technical documentation and drawings
- knowledge of norm ISO: ISO 9000; ISO VDA/TS 16949
- knowledge of capability methods application Cp, Cpk, Cm, Cmk, R&R, Cg, Cgk
- knowledge of lean organization
- communicative skills of English eventually German (written and verbal)
- knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel, Outlook)
- basic experience in MS Project
- good technical, analytical, organization and communication skills, orientation on detail and complex

The Company

Established as FAB in 1911, the company started with an initial manufacturing program covering door locks for the building industry, including mortise and furniture locks and associate fittings.

In 1958 the product portfolio was expanded to locks and keys for the automotive industry. Since then the company has gradually become an exclusive supplier of cylinder locks to vehicle manufacturers in former Czechoslovakia, as well as supplying components to OEMs in many other countries.

In 1996 the company joined the Swedish-Finnish ASSA ABLOY Group, allowing it to be member of an established group of companies which specialized in the field of high security door opening solutions. The company’s extensive experience in the development and production of vehicle access components and systems was further enhanced in 2007 by the acquisition of CE Marshall Ltd., the leading U.K. supplier of lock systems for cars and light commercial vehicles.

Following the path of globalization of its customers, the company expanded its global footprint by establishing new plants and local customer support teams in China and Mexico. Growing demand on solutions that provided further improved security and more comfort triggered the company to move on to more sophisticated electronic vehicle access & control solutions, such as remote keyless entry and passive entry/go systems, and respective components.

From Oct. 1st 2016 the company has been under the ownership of the Japanese ALPHA Corporation, one of the leading global automotive industry suppliers in vehicle access and control.
