职位描述：
? Purpose: The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality level of MTD purchased finished products across multiple platforms of Utility Vehicles. This Engineer will support manufacturing core competencies including tooling, stamping, aluminum casting, plastic injection molding, fabrication, paint and assembly for UTV products. This position will collaborate with several groups across the global organization, including Purchasing, Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
Essential Duties:
? Lead continuous quality improvement effort with cross functional teams utilizing both internal and external data to drive improvements at UTV manufacturing facility.
? Lead and drive supplier improvement initiatives with UTV manufacturer and supplier quality team.
? Track and report product quality performance showing impact / improvement by platform.
? Lead and contribute to the following quality systems and/or activities: process FMEA’s, capability studies, SPC, problem solving and preventive quality actions both at UTV manufacturing facility and their supporting suppliers.
? Utilize tools such as 8D problem solving, design of experiment and poka-yoke in support of UTV manufacturing facility.
? Communicate and implement quality initiatives at both UTV manufacturing facility and their suppliers.
? Participate in continuous improvement events at manufacturing facilities when applicable.
? Support quality department at manufacturing facilities as needed.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
? Strong computer skills (MS Office, database applications,..)
? Excellent written and oral communication skills utilizing the English language.
? Excellent technical hands-on aptitude.
? Strong interpersonal skills to direct UTV manufacturing facility and supporting suppliers.
? Experienced in leading organized problem-solving activities/events

Experience/Educational Requirements:
? BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing
? 3-5 years of professional experience in a related technical field, preferably Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
? Experienced in applying quality tools and techniques (SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, GD&T, Sampling Plans, and Corrective Actions / Problem Solving )
? Certified Quality Technician through ASQ.
Work Environment: Primarily office (Chongqing area) with some travel to MTD facilities and suppliers 举报 分享
