职位描述：
General Summary:
This position will be responsible for performing new product development activities in oral care industry, mainly for manual toothbrushes, interdental brushes and power toothbrushes, and will directly report to ACE R&D manager based in Changshu.

Main Responsibilities:
Support or lead new product development project and R&D related activities, main products includes (but not limited to) manual toothbrush, interdental brush, power toothbrush and other oral care products
Study and comply with gPDP (Global Product Development Process) during project execution
Study and comply with gDCP (Global Document Control Process) during project execution Cooperate with global functional team to finish project specification, drawings, assessment and test per gPDP and gDCP
Utilize advanced engineering tools (PDM, Solidworks, etc.) for 2D/3D design per given request and improve best practices continuously during work
Attend regular project meeting with global (US/EU) team
Perform R&D related test in ACE lab with supervision of lab technician when requested, and write test report
Visit local suppliers regularly on request to resolve issues in question
Prepare project status reporting to supervisor weekly and monthly
Perform other related tasks assigned by the supervisor or global team

Detailed Tasks:
Design, evaluation, validation, and reliability testing of manual toothbrushes and electromechanical consumer devices such as power toothbrushes.
General engineering and design work, including 2D CAD drawing, 3D CAD modeling
Develop product specifications per design requirement, prototype and testing
Organize and maintain design history file
Work with cross-functional development teams including R&D, Marketing, Quality, Operations and contract manufacturers on the development and testing of consumer products and medical devices
Project Management, including setting and meeting deadlines and providing results
Develop verification test plans and test methods, perform test, analyze test data, update specification and finalize test report
Clearly communicate project updates to category or project team.
Work interactively with other departments to resolve sourcing, quality, and design issues as they arise.
Initiate and manage continuous improvement programs
Assure compliance with all aspects of the Ranir product development process, FDA regulations, ISO standards and other relevant corporate procedures and processes.
Work closely with quality engineer to perform product validations at suppliers. (Travel required.)
Required Requirements:
Bachelor degree and above with major in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
5 years or above experiences in multinational or international company
At least 3 years working experiences of new product development or equivalent
Good English level, able to directly read English documents and send e-mails in English in daily work
Able to independently communicate with foreign colleagues face-to-face or on teleconference in English
Excellent skills in MS office
Strong communication skill, positive mind-set and teamwork spirit
Good sense of commitment, eager to learn and improve
Willing to accept short-term business traveling

Preferred Requirements:
Basic German skills
Skillful in Solidworks and familiar with PDM system, or other 3D CAD software, like Inventor, NX
Excellent skills in project management, or certificate of PMP
New product development work experiences in oral care or medical products or industry, especially for manual toothbrush, power toothbrush
Plastic injection and molding knowledge, design experience of plastics product
Familiar with laws and regulations in EU and US, like CE, UL, 510(K)
