Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Engineer;
Overview: Responsible for engineering analysis for product and process development and improvement through computer simulation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality CAE support & develop the solution to the product development engineers to improve and validate product designs appropriately;
- Make professional analysis report to internal engineers or external customers to interpret simulation results clearly;
- Cooperate with test engineers to validate and improve the simulation accuracy;
- Develop easy-to-use analysis tools for product engineers to accelerate concept design;
- Leverage the global CAE capabilities in TE to develop advanced analytical approach on some specific research fields through teamwork;
- Develop engineering analysis capabilities in region and standardize workflow to improve work efficiency.
- Contribute in innovation.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering science - mechanical engineering, engineering mechanics or related disciplines;
- Minimum 3 years experience in theoretical modeling and mechanical simulation. Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) approach;
- Skillful in using commercial software–ANSYS. LS-DYNA, CFdesign skills are preferred;
- Experienced nonlinear mechanical simulation skills is required;
- Knowledge of mechanical design and design of experiments (DOE);
- Familiar with at least one 3D modeling tool, Creo, SpaceClaim is preferred;
- Familiar with connector products is a plus;
- Sound technical writing and presentation skills;
- Self motivated and accountable;
- Good at English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.
