职位描述

Position Summary:

PwC Business Service (Chengdu) Co., Ltd (SDC) started operating in Chengdu on 1 July 2012. The SDC will initially serve PwC China and Hong Kong, with the objective to grow the size to 400 in 3 years.


The Human Resources (HR) Shared Service Manager for the SDC will be responsible for overseeing HR service delivery and provide service to PwC internal client.


The role includes setting up SDC HR team, managing cost and quality of the services, maintaining relationship between SDC and business, and developing a team to focuses on service delivery, continuous improvement, people development and financial prudence.


The position reports to the HR Shared Service Centre (SSC) Leader based in Shanghai.



Key responsibilities:

The HR Shared Service Manager will be responsible for the delivery of HR function for the internal client. Should have sound knowledge about the HR function and will be accountable for the client satisfaction and employees under HR in scope process, he/she needs to manage operational excellence and drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity.


  • Be on top of all aspects of service delivery by ensuring team is totally aligned and is trained and equipped to meet all commitments.
  • Engage and motivate the team to ensure a charged up work atmosphere, ability to work across diverse teams in a collaborative fashion.
  • Do frequent reviews with internal clients to ensure a stable operation and proactively escalate any issues.
  • Live our values and is seen as a leader who drives initiatives across team.
  • Continuously look for breaking fresh ground as regards productivity enhancement, quality improvement and client satisfaction, people satisfaction and shareholder value creation.
  • Participate in the establishment and development of the operation.
  • Ensure delivery of standards of service (relating to quality, effectiveness, productivity, efficiency etc.) to agreed SLA's on a daily basis.
  • Implement process improvements, initiate and design business process excellence improvements.
  • Design and implement the procedures and principles for how the team will operate on a daily basis.
  • Implement the necessary reporting and governance arrangements to ensure effective management controls are established to oversee the operation.
  • Allocate resources and responsibilities within team to deliver business results.
  • Evaluate direct reports and may review the evaluations / development plans of others Responsible for staff development. Staff planning to meet service requirements and involvement in recruitment process as necessary.
  • Accountable for ongoing management of effective internal client service relationship within HR area of responsibility, by acting as focal point of contact with HR management team from respective local office.
  • Attend meetings with HR management team, report on delivery against SLA's and ongoing operational matters, and provide performance reports to the internal client.
  • Supervise a team of 10 staff that will eventually grow to around 50.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, majored in Psychology or Human Resources will be highly preferable
  • 5 to 8 years of HR experience, and at least 2 to 3 years at a HR managerial level
  • Prior working experience in a business process outsourcing environment
  • Prior working experience with a foreign invested enterprise would be highly desirable
  • Appreciation or familiarity with metrics reporting management and quality reviews
  • Managerial or supervisory skills, e.g. overall management, people management, client management. Knowledge to project management is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Be adaptive to changes and highly customer orientated
  • Should be a problem-solver, quick at decision-making and have good analytical skills


Working conditions

  • Location in Chengdu
  • Overtime required in peak hours
  • 1-2 month pre-job trainings required
