Role Priorities
? Reporting to the Camfil APC Managing Director, China, develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of customer needs within the segment.
? Undertake detailed technical training to establish an in-depth knowledge of dust control and Camfil APC products. Prepare and present detailed engineering solutions to highly technical specifications / quote requests received including all supporting design drawings and engineering solution details, highlighting the competitive advantages.
? Responsible for direct sales into all pharmaceutical manufacturers, OEM’s and Engineering Consultants across China, closing new business to achieve and exceed the sales targets set. Understand the needs of core customers as well as emerging customers who have the potential for future growth. Identify market and competitive trends that are impacting segment customers and those that are seen as opportunities for new business.
? Identify segment opportunities, develop strategies, value proposition, product positioning and marketing programs to differentiate Camfil from the competition and drive revenue growth. A dynamic and enthusiastic approach is required.
? Design and implement ‘go-to-market’ strategies for new product introductions into the region.
? Continue to develop and grow our strong base of global pharma customers by further penetrating existing customers with new products or reposition existing products and capabilities.
? Play a critical role in the global initiative for Pharma OEM’s. Develop new OEM accounts with local and multinational pharma machine manufacturers and effectively manage these to maximise their sales revenue potential.
? Develop relationships with Engineering Consultants to ensure Camfil APC products are being specified for pharma projects across the region. Provide technical training to customers and prospects as and when required.
? Leverage internal and external resources to deliver compelling integrated marketing programs that include online and offline collateral, advertising, PR, sales tool kits and training. Use organisations such as ISPE to enhance networking and marketing opportunities.
? Build a team to support the sales into pharma end users and OEM’s as and when the level of business merits it.


Education & Work Experience
? Engineering degree or similar technical qualifications.
? Minimum 3 years’ capital sales experience into ‘blue-chip’ manufacturing companies. Proven track record selling complex solutions into global manufacturing companies. Previous experience of dust control and / or pharma OEM sales preferable.
? Strong marketing experience – ability to identify marketing program opportunities and achieve market success.
? Proven management experience of a sales team with relevant training and a strong goal / results orientation.
? Experience of developing and implementing sales, marketing and new product development initiatives.
? Membership of relevant Institutes and Associations.
? Able to travel extensively throughout mainland Europe with occasional global travel.


Skills
? Advanced new business sales development skills. Formal sales training (Sandler or equivalent) to include detailed training on all aspects of the sales process from bid preparation through negotiation and closing.
? Excellent communication skills across all business levels, able to present technical solutions to technically proficient audiences.
? Fluent in English, written and verbal.
? Project management and new product development and implementation skills.
? Demonstrable technical expertise with applicable hardware and software to include MS office products, CRM or equivalent, on-line business management and quote compiler tools.
