Leading German textile buying house/ textile importer offers two vacancies as
“Technical Manager Textile cum Environmental & Fabric Compliance Officer”
(male / female)
Educational background required
- textile engineer / chemical engineer
preferably majored in
dyeing / finishing / textile chemistry / environmental chemistry
Major duties / competences required
- auditing wet production factories in all stages of processing
- auditing wet processing recipes / wet processing sequences
for ecological fulfilment of clean & green production
- selection & recommendation of dyes / textile auxiliaries
and processing chemicals in regard to various buyer RSL
- conducting and surveying fabric bulk trials and fabric pilot productions
- supporting wet processing facilities in environmental - /
compliance issues
- trouble shooting of environmental - / compliance issues
Practical working experience required
- production of textiles in wet processing factories
(dye house / printing mill / finishing mill)
- application of dyes / textile auxiliaries on different textile substrates
- dyeing - / finishing and/or functional finishing / coating / lamination
- experience in shade matching / color measurement
- environmental auditing of wet processing factories / - productions
- auditing / testing of fabrics after various buyer RSL / initiating corrective
actions in fabric processing to achieve RSL requirements
- experience in waste water treatment as added advantage
- able to communicate in English, both in word and writing
- versed in PC applications
Positions require extensive travelling in China, successful applicants would be stationed in Greater Shengze- or Greater Shanghai area.
