Field Application Engineer
BU: Data & Devices
Location: Shenzhen or Shanghai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical window between the customer and company
- Identify new opportunities through increased engineering engagement
- Provide agile product and system design support to customer on new opportunities and drive the opportunities to design awards
- Align resources as needed to ensure efficient and effective technical engagement
- Provide front line technical support on quality issues
- Enhance customer relationship in the technical arena
- Provide VOC for new products assessments
- Present product portfolio to the customer
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- At least 8 years working experiences
- Have track record to spec in new projects with R&D centers together with sales and PM
- Able to understand technical requirements and propose new product categories to customers
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent oral (English and Mandarin) and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively influence others and to facilitate cross functional teams
- Proactive, results oriented, flexible, and adaptable
