Primary Function / Responsibility:
-Identify and profile prospective customers
-Develop strategy to gain access to potential key account customers in order to promote our line of products, gain insights and understand customer needs.
-Establish matrix network in target accounts and build relationships at Key Influencer accounts
-Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets
-Develop and execute annual/quarterly/monthly Regional sales plans for the region - target customers, target products and target applications markets
-Coordinate demonstration system resources to effectively achieve customer development goals.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
-Bachelor/Master degree Optical Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
-At least 8 years of key account management experience with a track record of successfully growing customer and segment revenue in the sale of highly engineered products or systems to OEM’s, integrators or end users in an industrial environment. Optical component or system technical experience is a plus.
-At least 8 years’ experience developing and growing new customers, new markets or new geographies.
-Demonstrated capability to consistently overachieve quarterly/yearly sales targets.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong presentation skills
-Demonstrated capability to assist customers in solving complex system or component issues.
-Prioritizes quickly to focus on the critical few and drive action
-Process driven – manage business through the effective use of continuous improvement processes: funnel management, sf.com, value/solution based/consultative selling
-Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
