Job Description:

- Design, develop and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes using ZAIZEN tools and processes

- Evaluate and monitor costs in 'bills of materials' and working plans

- Produce cost analysis for individual products, working regularly with other operations departments to rectify missing or wrong costs

- In-process cost control to maximize labour and materials

- Control of quality in relation to ZERO defect strategy

- Work closely with the finance department to solve product / inventory discrepancies

- Assist with day to day R&D department requirements especially assisting the department supervisor with transformer cost / design evaluation / costs



Qualification:

- University degree in 'Industrial Engineering' or similar engineering discipline

- Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position

- Working knowledge of the principles of 'Lean manufacturing' plus SAP experience

- Team spirit

- Responsibility for company

- High commitment

- English (verbal and written)
