UMC Silicon Bringup lead
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Understand the architecture of the GPU DRAM Controller(MC) IP, Memory PHY and DRAM device.
? GPU MC/PHY feature and function bring up in DRAM Controller team.
? Compose silicon test plan and validation vectors to ensure functional completeness.
? MC/PHY silicon issue debugging, and support AMD customers memory related issues.
? Develop internal tools for workflow optimization.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Have in depth knowledge of entire design process from Design specification, defining architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design and functional verification, synthesis, Physical Design, Timing closure, Tape-out, and post-Si debug.
? Experience with ASIC memory controller/PHY or DRAM memories.
? Strong experience in electronic hardware development or test environment
? Understand high-speed mix-signal multi-layer PCB design techniques
? Familiar with basic Linux commands and configurations
? Should be able to work closely with RTL Designers, Verification teams, Backend Physical Design teams across multiple sites.
? Must have good communication & Analytical thinking skills.
? Should have proficiency in flow development and scripting.
? Should be able to Lead a team, and provide Technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.
EDUCATION:
? Master with at least 5 years or Bachelor with at least 8 years working experience in ASIC or Testing area.
? Good English required – verbal and written
