Primary Function
Responsible for EH&S program in plant
Responsible for reporting on the performance of the EH&S system for review and as basis for continuous improvement, systems and overall coordinating of the activities for all plants.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Annually to conduct an EH&S compliance status audit.
2. Conducts ISO14001 Internal audit
3. Work with 3rd party compliance auditors and pant to schedule regulatory compliance audits, as necessary, per CEWI 4.0. Ensure that results of regulatory compliance audits are followed up and tracked via Dakota Tracer on Lear Net.
4. Attend conference calls as scheduled.
5. Others, for example, environmental due diligence, as specified by the Lear Director Environmental Management or designee
6. Ensure compliance with Key Elements by performing Key Element audits.
7. Ensure plant in the area of safety and industrial hygiene and interact with outside agencies to achieve world class safety performance
8. Implement a system to periodically assess the plant’s compliance with country health and safety codes/standards, submit recommendations to plant management and track to completion.
9. Facilitate the collection of monthly injury/illness data from plants and forward to Corporate EH&S to be incorporated into the monthly frequency and severity report. Additionally forward investigation of all lost time injuries to the Corporate EH&S Department.
10. Coordinate the development of annual plant safety goals (frequency and severity) and approve the goals and the action plans necessary to achieve these goals. Periodically review the goals to ensure plants are staying on track with established goals.
11. Establish systems for incident prevention. Establish a near miss reporting process.
12. Evaluate safety programs and recommend appropriate programs to ensure employees are provided a safe and healthy work environment.
13. Assess training needs and recommend training to ensure employees are provided with the best possible training in order to perform their job safely.
Position Specification
Management Scope: Plant EHS
Education: Bachelor’s degree, Major in Environment or Occupational Health and Safety will be better
Experience: 2 years working experience in related position，auto-parts preferred；
Skills: ISO 14001 internal auditor certificate
Security staff certificate
