Summary:
Act as a Senior Recruiter, coordinating all recruiting assignments and ensuring efficient team work among Recruiters. Oversee employee recruiting and ensure the selection process is followed.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all recruiting practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration, and company policy
Evaluate selection criteria and testing techniques to ensure compliance to standards
Develop and employ recruiting strategies that allow for quick and appropriate candidate identification.
Identify sources of candidates, initiate and maintain relationships with outside sources such as employment agencies, colleges and job fair sponsors.
Recruit, interview, test and select candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions.
Develop knowledge of customer groups to effectively target recruitment efforts in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Develop innovative, creative and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs of each client department.
Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates including the Internet, community based organizations, print media, and formal/informal networks.
Conduct reference checks, communicate status of selection process to candidates, and extend employment offers to candidates.
Monitor salary administration, in partnership with HR Manager and Compensation, to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
May perform additional duties or special projects such as exit interviews or new employee orientation.
Attend job fairs, organize on-site job fairs and participate in high school/tech school/college/university recruitment.
Requirements:
Skill in providing an exceptional customer experience.
Skill in verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret and address customer needs.
Knowledge of PC applications.
Ability to work in a time critical environment.
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years related experience in the staffing industry.
Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
