Job Responsibilities:
-Drive sales growth and maintain existing customers as well as developing new customers in North China and Central China;
-Pursue sales leads and prospective sales clients;
-Update opportunities and account information in salesforce.com;
-Arranges Pre- and Post-Sales technical and integration/application support to customer;
-Drive contract negotiations with existing and new accounts;
-Supporting distribution channel to grow business in designated regions;
-Identify and evaluate fundamental issues that may be preventing growth or customer satisfaction, providing strategy and direction for regional and functional areas;
-Evaluate competitor activity continuously, providing analysis and regular updates to Senior Management;
-Provide feedback in relation to market sizes, drivers, opportunities and threats for each product and market segment;
-Work closely with the applications engineers to propose right solution to address customer requirements and applications.
-Assist in marketing initiatives for the Cambridge Technology products including:
-Organizing and participating at local trade shows
-Coordinate local road shows
-Giving sales presentations and demonstrations
-Recommend improvements, changes and additions to the Company’s products and procedures to ensure market penetration and profitable growth.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline (Engineering, Physics, Photonics is preferred);
-Excellent verbal and written language and presentation skills in English as well as Chinese;
-5+ years industrial experience in photonics or related industry sector and proven track record of successfully identifying and developing new sales opportunities resulting in sales delivery and closing on-going negotiations through effective management of Customer relationships;
-Experience with Key Account Management, especially for OEM customers, and obtaining good result;
-Experience of significant customer management of OEMs and in long cycle qualifications where pre- and post-sales services are a key element of the value proposition to the Customer Delivery of results;
-Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in sales performance;
-Drives, implements and continuously improves a disciplined sales process that demands lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting etc.;
-Work effectively with management, team members and other departments to ensure budgets, costs, incentive programs etc. are managed appropriately;
-Industrial automation (including capital equipment subsystems) background or related experience selling complementary products with a mix of industrial applications would be ideal or alternatively, a strong combination of technology sales into industrial applications, systems and service sales;
-Understanding such application as laser additive manufacturing, laser marking/welding/cutting/cleaning, will be a plus.
