ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:

Development and implementation of product evaluation test systems and procedures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Plans, schedules, and executes detailed phases of the work for major projects with minimum supervision.

2. Ability to operate all laboratory test and electronic equipment used to develop and test new products.

3. Ability to control tests, process and evaluate test data with related software, especially Diadem (Labview)

4. Ability to process data with statistical methods, interpret results and write accurate technical reports.

5. Ability to combine various techniques and technologies to implement and improve new product designs, processes or services needed for our business. Able to manage and organize both large and small projects. Maintains accurate written records of all activities.

6. Design, develop, set up and calibrate Software and Hardware test systems for laboratory test functions. Overall system design and function will be optimized for accuracy and cost.

7. Conducts test projects that require development of new test techniques and procedures.

8. Works with all engineering staff members to assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products and equipment, and to subsequently execute studies to validate these issues.

9. Perform other duties as assigned from manager.

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Key Internal Relationships: All staff functions.

Key External Relationships:

REQUIRED EDUCATION BACKGROUND, KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

1. BS Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic, hydraulic, or automotive engineering;

2. 2-3 years of experience in coordination of electrical and hydraulic systems, especially engine and transmission;

3. Ability to publish clear, concise and accurate Engineering reports

4. Knowledge of AIAG Quality System Requirements;

5. Knowledge of ISO17025 Laboratory System Requirements;

6. English is must, German is a plus;

7. Able to travel oversea and domestic.
