Job Description:

1. BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for implementing the Business Plan for Aromatics Sales in Asia, and for managing logistics coordinator and cusxtomer service representative located in Shanghai.
Overall is responsible for sales, pricing and forecasting
Is responsible for the development and growth of the Aromatics team in Shanghai.

2. SCOPE:
Initial Sales turnover is USD$500 Million/year, which represents 350Kt/yr or Aromatics, but could grow to USD$4.5 Billion/yr by 2020, the bulk of which will be shipped to Asia. The sales manager will have two direct reports, the customer service representative and the logistics coordinator.

3. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS:
External:
Sales Manager will visit Key account customers. Contacts will be senior management levels including Procurement managers, Sales Managers, Logistic Managers and Technical Managers, on a weekly basis. Sales manager's role is to promote Saudi Aramco, its products and to build business relationships.

Internal:
Internal contacts include the Dhahran Aromatics Business, Finance and Logistics department; Shanghai Office Aromatics logistics and customer service; and the ABS management for administrative reason. Contacts could be every day. These contacts are essential to ensure that the business runs smoothly and the customer receives the product on time, in full and pricing is correct.

4. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for the implementation of the Business Plan
- Identifies and defines key opportunities in line with the Aromatics Business Plan.
- Responsible for the total Aromatics sales in Asia.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate customer pricing
- Responsible for ensuring accurate customer forecasts, monthly/quarterly.
- Proposes key programs for growth and of both the Shanghai Aromatics team.
- Develops relationships, targets and account plans for key customers.
- Analyses market intelligence relating to market trends.

Job Requirements:

- University Degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering
- MBA or Masters preferred but not required
- 5+ years sales experience in either or both PX or PTA.
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Basic IT capabilities (e-mail, SAP R3, EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT)
