Report to: Sales Application Engineering Manager
Communicate with: Stoneridge Global Locations (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific)

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Advanced degrees a plus
- Very Good English
- Minimum 5 year's relevant experience in the automotive industry, automotive supplier environment is preferred. (and/or commercial vehicles i.e. trucks, farm equipment, construction)
- Minimum 3 years experience in the sensor industry
- Working experience in a multi-national company is preferred
- Familiarity with supplier development and supplier quality management
- Motivated self-starter
- Professional image
- Hands-on experience in a start-up environment preferred
- Commercial / business minded that understands the sales process
- Proactive / win-win mentality
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge/ understanding of quality tools, QS9000, DOE, APQP, SPC
- Strong presentation and computer skills, with experience using spreadsheet, database and presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibility:
- Provide application engineering support to the business development teams working on Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), EGRT, and other related sensor products.
- Provide tactical liaison support to N.A.-based Control Device Division.
- Obtain Voice of Customer (VOC) information from existing and potential customers to provide current and future requirements.
- Provides application engineering expertise at the customer to assist the customer in applying SRI products; resolving issues and determining product requirements.
- Communicate technical and commercial customer requirements to division team members.
- Support sales calls and product and capability presentations, demonstrating how a specific product will meet the customer's application requirements.
- Must be able to travel within China. Travel may be required to Stoneridge global locations as business dictates. Extended training stay in United States likely.
- Dictated by the needs of the business, the successful candidate will be required to support technical issues and sales calls in Korea and Japan with regular follow-up and communication required.
