Occupational Summary:
To support DKU Undergraduate Program growth, this analyst is responsible for supporting endpoints service like enterprise applications including Student Information System (SIS), ERP (Yonyou), building management systems, communications technologies and working with outsourced service providers to ensure any systems they manage meet DKU’s enterprise IT standards. The analyst will provide direct support and additionally use service level agreements with Duke OIT staff and/or vendors to leverage additional support when needed. This position requires a broad understanding of IT ERP systems, network and IT security concepts and best practices, excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Essential Duties:
Responsible for business requirement analysis and solution design. Successful rolling out SIS system for DKU undergraduate Program will be a major measuring factor. Furthermore, this role will be involved with other program design, systems integration, and understanding overall coding and development campus wide applications. Communicating with request department, understanding business workflow, requirements and user feeling, prepare for related documents. Program testing and verification are also part of job scope. Prepare the related documents during development and implementation phases of projects and tracking and fixing the program bugs, communicating with users.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
? Bachelor or above, major in computer, software related.
? At least 3 years’ working experiences in software development, maintenance and relevant.
? Well knowing kinds of application system, like Oracle Peoplesoft, WMS, OA, etc.
? Familiar with .net frameworks, C#, ASP.net, be skilled with VS.net development platform, Experiencing with B/S development mode.
? Familiar with AJAX, XML, Web Service, HTML/XHTML, JS and related development languages, knowing 3 tier architecture and well programming skills, capable on designing for complex interactive program.
? Familiar with Oracle or SQL Server database, skilled in using SQL language.
? Better requirement understanding, analysis, system design and document writing capabilities.
? Strong sense of responsibilities and team work spirit, owe the service awareness.
? This person must clearly demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate Student Information System and application knowledge that allows him/her to be regarded as an “expert” in SIS application.

SOFT SKILLS
? Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills while supporting end users and other IT staff members.
? Excellent time-management and organizational skills; self-motivated and goal-oriented.
? Analytical and solution oriented.
? Ability to communicate with all levels of end-user (verbal and written).
