Responsibility:
1. Planning, installation and setup of new ECS systems and ECS extensions in Asia Pacific. Independent execution of all tasks coordinating with project engineer department, technical service department and customer.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot installed ECS systems to ensure high system availability and accessibility for the respective users within SIG and also for customers.
3. Provide monthly performance analysis of machines connected to ECS systems within Asia Pacific on request.
4. Train ECS users on system features and the use of system analysis functions. Support users in all questions related to ECS.
5. Implement, test and monitor system upgrades related to new software and hardware releases.
6. Maintain good relations with the Global ECS support team. Share information on experienced problems and actively seek support in case of questions and more complex problems.
7. Support Service teams in set up of machine computers connected to the ECS system as well as trouble shooting support for machine computer breakdowns upon request.
8. Provide accurate time reports and technical summary reports after completion of tasks.
9. Participate in all relevant internal and customer meetings where assigned by your supervisor.
10. Accomplish special tasks or assignments given by your superior in the frame of the company interest.


Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
2. Good interpersonal skill and service minded
3. Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
4. 2-5 years experience in network and system administration
5. Skillful in Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 server
6. Very good knowledge and understanding of networking technology such as OSI 7 Layers, LAN, WAN, WLAN , internet, VoIP, PIX Firewall and VPN technologies
7. Knowledge of IT security
8. Knowledge of automation systems preferably Siemens S7 and ELAU
9. Knowledge of MS SQL server, Oracle, IIS, ASP and Java script
10. Knowledge of Microsoft-based and Cisco technologies
11. World class IT certification such as CCNA and MCP are preferred
12. Able to work with people under the various type of circumstances and cultural background
13. Proficient in spoken and written English
14. Must be able to travel a lot to assigned area in China and other countries

  SIG Combibloc is one of the world's leading system suppliers of aseptic carton packaging and filling machines for beverages and food with around 5,000 staff world-wide. Headquartered in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland.
