PURPOSE of POSITION
The Trade Marketing Executive provides direct support to the Trade Marketing Manager for projects and daily tasks including promotions, channel management, POS and financial management as well as providing administrative support to the Trade Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotion planning and implementation
? Achieve business objective and increase sales by executing impactful retailer/distributor promotional campaigns
? Develop and implement trade marketing plans to achieve desired sales
? Establish and implement tracking and reporting to monitor effectiveness of promotional activities
? Update using data, analysis and resources of the sales and marketing
Channel development tailor-made program
? Work closely with regions to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance and grow the categories and bring field intelligence to define brand-specific activities including price, pack, product assortment and shelving definitions
? Support innovative and effective trade and promotion & on counter sales programs in store together with RSM, actively participating to sales training, especially for new product launches
POS management
? Manage feedback and communication between sales and marketing teams relating to POS and Trade Marketing activities
? Deliver cost savings to the business, maximize ROI for all in-store POS
? Deliver all POS requirements on time and within budget
? Manager external suppliers & below the line agencies
? Project management of all in-store activity (POS displays i.e. wing ends, gondola ends, off-location displays, counter units, etc)
Financial and Budget Management
? Track expenditures and budgets relating to trade and promotion expense (permanent fixtures, and non-permanent POS)
? Build up expense tracking and reporting system to help budget control efficient.
? Raise PO’s and processing invoices
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor degree in Marketing or related discipline
? 3+ years' experience in a similar role with an enthusiasm for trade marketing and promotions
? Solid understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in China FMCG/OTC trade industry and compliance track record
? Data-based analytical and strategic thinking skills required
? Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills
? Excellence in execution, energy, drive and passion
