JOB SUMMARY:
Handle customer complaints, process orders, and provide information about company’s products and services. Mainly focus on China and Japan market, including but not limited to customers from Aspac
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Key day to day functions of the role:
Process orders
New customer set up and credit limit application.
Compare customer specification against internal default specification. Coordinate any difference between QA colleagues and customer till an agreed specification is reached for sign-off.
Make quotation, contract and proforma invoice for the customer.
Receive and process orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedure.
Assist customer in LC opening/label preparation; communicate with logistics team for special loading and document requirements.
Work closely with US colleagues to make sure order is timely allocated, shipping booked and sailed out as scheduled; communicate in time with customer for any order delay or shipping change.
Handle customer complaints
Ensure that all customer complaints are clear understood, and verify the complaints then enter the complaint in CRM, follow up among assignee, line manager, sales managers and customers till complaint closure with customer satisfaction. In the interim, ensure that customer is kept informed of any progress in a timely manner.
Commercial support
Assist in customer inquiries about company’s products and services; provide supporting documents and information to the customer.
Collect forecasts from customers and check with planning manager; ensure all orders are received within the standard time frame. Communicate with planning manager on any changes of original agreed forecast.
Assist in preparation and on-site support to trade shows and promotion events.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Standardize customers shipping docs based on their region (Country requirement).
Customer’s order report, weekly update.
Translate some documentation for Chinese customers.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Necessary trips for internal training and customer liaison
