1. PLACE IN THE ORGANISATION
Immediate superior : MCi Suzhou Quality Manager
Subordinates : None

2. PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
Coordinate and implement activities which are associated with the MCi quality program. This includes, but is not limited to the development of objectives and procedures, leading the APQP and Ship to Stock programs, conducting supplier assessments, collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement and benchmarking suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.

3. JOB PROFILE
Result areas
- Actively seek for new potential suppliers.
- Leading the APOQ / PPAP process for new products and new suppliers from the product design to the SOP (start of production).
- Directing multi-disciplinary audit and research teams from suppliers to determine whether the product / process quality and quality management systems are sufficient. Subsequently, ask for additional information, improving processes to suppliers, making proposals for engineering and possibly stopping the collaboration with the supplier.
- Leading and coordinating quality improvement measures by MCi selected strategic suppliers. Provide relevant information and manage multidisciplinary teams
- Implemented, evaluated and where necessary, update supplier reviews
- Provide additional information to SCM necessary for decisions regarding supplier performance specifically on launching new programs and new suppliers.
- Develop and implement supplier Quality objectives, procedures in line with MCi quality objectives.
- Participating in developing, implementing and maintaining an assessment system for MCI suppliers.
- Advising of selected suppliers in developing their quality systems.
- Reporting supplier performance
- Interacts with engineering and SCM to identify global and local solutions.
- Leads Ship to Stock initiatives.
- Follow up by quality issues and implement corrective actions.

4. PERSON PROFILE
Education
- Bachelor degree, and Quality Engineering (EQO) or Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ) and recognized audit training (IRCA or Similar)
- MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in auditing
- Automotive experience
- Mechanical and electronic experience
- Injection molding, PCB and metal parts experience
- Statistical knowledge (mini Tab)
- Experience with TS 5 tools and problem solving techniques such as 8D and DOE
- TS16949, LEAN techniques

Experience
3 to 5 years experience in production manufacturing of components and subsystems in Automotive industy.
