Duties & Responsibilities

1.Manage the development, execution, and continuous improvement of demand planning strategy. Develop, implement, and oversee the policies and procedures, for Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Capacity Planning to align with Global Operations and Business Unit leadership;
2.Provide logistics and planning leadership to product lifecycle management for assigned business units or region(s), including regionalization initiatives for supply/sourcing;
3.Provide leadership in facilitating the organization of supply chain objectives through maximizing resources, constraints and cycle times;
4.Collaborate with the Global Operations, Sales and Product Line Management leaders to insure alignment and execution of activities to achieve objectives;
5.Provide senior leadership to establish processes, procedures and tools related to new business processes;
6.Lead strategic initiatives for all planning activities for assigned business units or region(s), working closely with planning teams at all manufacturing locations and distribution centers;
7.Manage the control processes including measurement of key performance indicators and recommended actions over the supply chain. These include metrics for customer service, supply chain costs, and working capital;
8.Manage direct and support ongoing and new planning technology initiatives;
9.Manage and execute talent development plans that include regular performance reviews, leadership identification, and development within the team;
10.Managerial/Supervisory Responsibility: Recruit, select, manage and develop employees, if applicable. Make decisions regarding hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, discipline, and any other changes of employee status.


Requirements

1.Minimum 10 years experience in supply chain business processes;
2.Minimum 5 years management experience;
3.Bachelors degree or equivalent required;
4.APICS certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP, or CIRM);
5.Ability to lead a high performance team and coach individuals to improve personal performance;
6.Demonstrated leadership with ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines;
7.Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable results;
8.Ability to effectively present ideas to an individual or group utilizing appropriate delivery styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance;
9.Ability to analyze information and provide fact-based recommendations;
10.Expertise in global supply chain;
11.Ability to travel globally;
12.Strong PC skills required (MS Office);
13.Significant experience with ERP and reporting tools required, SAP preferred.
