PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provide timely and professional desk-side support for incidents/Service Requests which cannot be solved remotely. Scheduling appointments with customers with regards to desk-side services (e.g., instruction, hardware change, etc.). Instruction of users during handover of technical devices.
2. Call acceptance for overflow reasons. Be the backup person for Service Desk Specialist.
3. Understand ITIL incident management process and using ValueMation system in daily work.
4. Preparation and delivery of IT hardware and software i.e. Server, Network, Desktop, Notebook, PDA, peripheral, monitor, printer, multifunctional copy machine, mobile and accessory, software, etc.
5. Repair and guarantee handling, theft and insurance handling, taking back / disposal of exchanged or old hardware, coordination of relocations. Administration of lease/maintenance contracts.
6. Support local Telephony System.
7. Support Production PC i.e. PDC, Domino printing system, etc.
8. Improve user IT skills by providing IT documentations, end-user training.
9. Liaise with SIG-IT for Group consistency/standardization.
10. Optimize the Desktop and Office support by developing/applying new self-service tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Male / female between 25-35 years of age
? Bachelor degree or higher in IT related areas.
? 4 to 8 years experiences in Service Desk organizations
? Good knowledge of all relevant IT-infrastructure issues. Additional basic network skills required.
? Deep knowledge of windows office applications (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
? Windows Scripting or other automation tools
? Experiences with self service systems desirable
? Experiences with desktop/application virtualization desirable (e.g.,VMWare View, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft VDI)
? Good problem solving and documentation skills
? Handling ticketing system and understanding of ITIL service processes.
? Able to work and get results in a highly matrixes organization structure.
? Ability to work in multinational teams.
? Good communication and collaboration skills
? Project planning
? Very good command of both spoken and written English.
? Service minded attitude
