You will form team with the Mechanical designers, and you will report to the Head of Technology in China.



As a design engineer, you are part of the global Vyncke design team. In cooperation with the other team members world-wide you will be responsible to design the correct solution for our customers, within the budget and deadlines. By doing calculations of combustions systems, heat exchangers, auxiliary plant equipment and the holistic design of the energy plant, you will design state-of-the-art biomass energy plants. Together with the layout-designer you will coordinate and follow up the detailed design of your project.



You are a team player and active communicator with sound knowledge of English. Experience with thermodynamics, stress calculations and component design is a must. Experience in boiler construction codes or piping design is an asset. Because of the importance of a sound technological background, a master degree in electro-mechanics, thermo-energy engineering or a large experience in electro-mechanics is required.

During an extensive training in our other design offices abroad, you will be trained in designing Vyncke biomass energy plants. From time to time, travel to our offices in Belgium and Czech Republic is to be expected.

Additional assets are knowledge of:



- Knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel

- Boiler construction codes: BS, ASME, TRD, CSN, ...
- FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

- Piping design
