Job Purpose

Be the expert at certain process area, maintain and continually improve process capability, yield and reduce defect PPM, optimize operation spec and provide training to operation staff, timely close line abnormal, support EON and NPI activity, support machine qualification and buyoff.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead and cooperate with different function groups for tester/handler/finishing machine purchase, setup, qualification to meet NPI requirement and schedule.
2. Test and finishing process setup, maintenance and optimization; test board and program development and improvement; and other cost reduction activities.
3. Initiate and lead yield improvement projects to reduce scrap cost and improve overall production pack-out and device margin.
4. Drive product quality improvement by process optimization, system design, error proofing setup and maverick test limits to meet automotive application requirement.
5. Provide technical/process training to Mfg operator/technicians, support maverick lots disposition and technical issues from production.
6. Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in EE, Micro-electronics, Automatic Control or relative specialty
2. 3+ years' product or test engineering experience of semiconductor device such as power discrete (BJT, MOSFET, IGBT, Diode), multi-chip functional power module, analog switch, PWM, power conversion IC, etc.
3. Good knowledge of APQP/CP/FMEA/MSA/Quality tools, understanding of TS16949, VDA6.3; skills and hands-on experience of 6 sigma or Shainin Red-X problem solving will be a plus
4. Good English communication skills including verbal and written
5. Team player with good interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively/efficiently with multi-functional groups across different department and location
6. Proactive, self-motivated, result/goal oriented and be willing to face pressure and challenge
