职位描述：
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To provide project management of a cross functional team that develops molds, auxiliary equipment or fixtures, and processes to produce high quality molded rubber or plastic components and/or assemblies, which meet customer requirements in specifications, on time delivery, and maintain profitability with high production efficiencies.

ACCOUNTABILITY
1.Manages entire product launch from contract review through formal release to the plant, using DPSS and Minnesota Rubber Project Management System to coordinate timely mold design, material order, sample build, submission, customer approval, and release to the production. This will include completion of actions items from the preliminary (PDR), intermediate (IDR), and final design reviews (FDR).
2.Works closely with customers to understand their requirements and special characteristics of products and communicates with internal team to meet customer objectives. Informs customer of the project progress and solves problems in terms of product quality and delivery. Keeps track of the sample approval process to ensure products released to production in a timely manner.
3.Works with technical,materials, production, logistic and quality teams to ensure molds, material, fixture, work instruction, inspection / package specification and processes have been prepared on schedule, builds samples on time and ensures sample shipment to customer along with all required documentation are within promised dates. Works directly with Quality Engineers to assist in the development of APQP and ensures customer submission requirements are completed.
4.Coordinates with the production, technical and quality teams to resolve manufacturing problems in prototype and mass production processes. Ensures that productivity meets or beats the criteria in RFQ.
5.Analyses the production cost and takes action to achieve the maximum profit level of the newly launched parts or assemblies.
6.Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Education: Minimum College Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

*Experience:5+ years experience in Rubber or Plastic Manufacturing or Engineering environment. Project management experience desireable. Knowledge of advanced quality planning techniques,computer software helpful. 举报 分享
