Job Purpose/Summary
This position is responsible for the BSP issue troubleshooting and BSP feature development (coding/debugging/testing) in Sierra M2M module enhancement. It locates in the High Tech Industrial Park, Nanshan Shenzhen.
Key Accountabilities
? Follow Sierra coding standard and deliver high quality C code.
? Debug and troubleshoot the BSP issues and develop customer specific BSP features, based on Qualcomm chipset.
? Apply common debugging tools (QXDM/QPST/TRACE32…) to debug the issues in BSP feature development.
? Deliver firmware build for customer or issue debugging.
? Coordinate with customer engineer team, other R&D teams (SDK, host driver) to provide high standard quality support tor key Sierra Wireless customers.
Required Education, Experience and Competencies
? BSEE/CS is mandatory, MS is preferable.
? At least 2 years’ work experience in embedded software development.
? Good skills in C programming Language.
? Familiarity with ARM architecture and ARM assembler.
? Hands on experience in embedded software development/debugging method and tools.
? Proactive working attitude. Being able to work independently and as a good team player.
? A creative, quick-learner and be willing to have the business trip abroad in short time.
? Experience in Qualcomm platform.
? Good communication skills. Fluent verbal and written English is an essential.
Desired Education, Experience and Competencies
? Experience in File system, USB, Audio, will be a plus.
