Job Duties:
- Develop and debug 3D graphics drivers including but not limited to D3D9/10/11/12.
- Understand new h/w features, design driver support, create proof of concept demos and verify the code on emulator before silicon tapes out.
- Work independently on the software design, fix coding bugs
- Work with different functional teams to triage, analyze and debug cross-domain issues.
- Drive customer issue solving and deliver finely tuned answers or fixes in timely manner
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of modern 3D rendering pipeline of D3D or OpenGL is a must
- More than 5 years of Windows 3D driver working experience, or relevant working experience, such as game industry and rendering engine development.
- The candidate must have good understanding of data structures, design patterns, C/C++ language features and good coding style.
- The candidate must have strong analytical skill, problem solving skill and communicate skill
- Computer science degree or other degrees with relevant technical discipline
- AMD GCN graphics architecture knowledge and experience is not required but highly preferred
