Main Duties (include but are not limited to)
? Program Management during Acquisition and Development.
Build, motivate and lead national and international cross functional teams which include sales, product development, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and purchasing. Including Program Manager Plant.
Regular reporting on project status and maturity (to Key Account Manager and Program Manager Plant).
Lead project kick-off and production kick-off meetings. Document project hand-over to plant and mutual sign-off with Program Manager Plant.
Conduct lessons learned as part of the Group continuous improvement activities. Support to develop ElringKlinger processes to match with customer specific requirements.
Act in the Sales role as part of the project team after the production kick-off meeting.
? Build overall program timeline from customer request for quotation until Start of Production (RFQ-SOP) and manage it until Production Kick-off Meeting based on customer milestones and due dates.
? Professional communication to customer and within the project team.
Customer interface to purchasing and development/engineering.
Ensure understandability of customer specific requirements for ElringKlinger project team.
Act as the key interface between ElringKlinger plants and departments in case of product and customer specific requirements until production kick-off meeting.
Act in terms of deliverables as point of contact for the customer throughout the entire project.
? Change Management: Initiate change requests and product variations during all project phases. Communicate results and consequences to the customer.
Obtain customer cost approval and production release drawing.
Prepare birth certificate.
? Report program budget for tools, machines and piece price to Program Manager Plant and General Manager based on validated product costing from plant.
Control and report APQP status to Key Account Manager and entire program team until production kick-off meeting.
Responsibilities
? Obligation to escalate to Director Sales Global Account and General Manager.
? Accountable for the on time completion of all deliverables up to the production kick-off meeting.
? Lead the project team to achieve design freeze with customer on time.
? Responsible for achieving project targets regarding timing, quality and target costs.
? Timely definition of tasks and corrective actions and control their on-time completion (project risk management).
? Comply with requirements of ISO/TS-16949 and ElringKlinger internal procedures (esp. OA VD 7.3-1 Project Management).
? Keep Program Manager Plant involved in project in case of deviations or changes compared to the initial agreed project targets (time, cost, quality).
