Biopharm Research China (BRC) is one of the research units in Novo Nordisk China R&D and a fully integrated part of the Biopharmaceuticals Research Unit (BRU) in Denmark. We are committed to developing innovative biologics to improve the lives of people with haemophilia, growth disorders, and autoimmune diseases. By leveraging our core competences in protein and antibody engineering & production, we support Novo Nordisk pipeline projects in turning naturally occurring proteins into valuable pharmaceuticals and identifying new molecular targets for the treatment of diseases. Currently BRC consists of three research departments: Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry, and Cell Biology. We are currently seeking for talent for the following position:

Research Associate/Assistant in mAb generation of Cell Biology Department

We are seeking for a research associate/assistant with background in cell biology focusing on monoclonal antibody generation with hybridoma technology. The successful candidate will team with a PhD level scientist to carry out laboratory work, documentations and other tasks related to mAb generation.

Key job responsibilities include but not limit to
- Animal handling, i.e. immunization, sacrifice.
- Develop and execute robust, quantitative and scalable assays (flow cytometry, ELISA and cell-based) for mAb screening.
- Hybridoma culture, storage and record keeping.
- Provide scientific and technical input for experimental design and data interpretation.
- Generate high quality lab notes, data report and other docmentations in English.

Requirements
- BS or MS in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology or other biological science area.
- Solid knowledge in mAb generation with hybridoma technology.
- Tissue culture experience is an essential requirement and experience in antibody generation is preferred.
- Prior experience in antibody screening technologies, flow cytometry is a plus.
- Good verbal and written skills in English.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner, cooperative, excellent communication skills, passion for drug discovery research.
