Customer Account Manager Job Description
Job Title: Customer Account Manager
Reports To: China General Manager.
Summary –
A Customer Account Manager serves as liaisons between a company and its clients, ensuring excellent
customer service and client satisfaction. The Customer Account Manager is also responsible for
managing client relationships, developing account plans, and delivering proposals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities –
? Identify, maintain and developing strong relationships with new potential Automotive OEM’s
(Original Equipment Manufacturer) which can meet Arkal portfolio.
? Maintain and developing strong relationships with Arkal running customers.
? Identify, track and understand each customer platform needs, assembly lines location, projects
lifetime, new designs, new technologic, etc.
? Role as Arkal key person who provide relevant answers to all customer businesses and
requirements.
Skills requirements –
? At least 5 years of experience in relevant automotive industry.
? High level of understanding of the Chinese automotive industry.
? High level relations with the customer relevant key persons and decision makers.
? Highly motivated to success and business promote.
? Capable for teamwork, professionalism approach and attention to details, excellent communication
skills, ability to handle and solve practical problems, ability to develop documentation.
Language Skills –
? Very good English: being able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.
? Very good Chinese: being able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.
? Write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and
Arkal team members.
? Read and interpret documents such as procedures and manuals.
Computer Skills –
? To perform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge of ERP System and
Microsoft Excel.
? In addition - other Microsoft Office tools (ie. Internet Explorer, Word and Outlook). Issue reports and
interpret them.
Availability,
? Readiness and willingness to travel in China for several days.
? The job center will be Arkal Shanghai office.
? The position will be needed as of the 15th Feb. 2014.
? Prepare and mange high level insightful presentation and exhibition which demonstrate Arkal
capabilities and know how.
? Representing Arkal at customer meeting, trade exhibitions, events and other demonstrations.
? Manage the quotations process under the aspects of pricing, feasibility, margin analyzing,
negotiations, and mercantile, cost saving by evaluating results and competitive developments.
? Receiving and analyzing the annually customer forecast.
? Prepare and mange relevant tools which can support and maintain Arkal short and long sales
forecast and budget.
? Monitoring the customer payment terms and support in case mentioned terms are not fully
implemented.
