职位描述
A) OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF JOB:
To provide reliable, timely, value-added financial input, control support to the Finance Controller Asia.
B) PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Input accounting entries into the system.
? Monthly and weekly reporting, forecasting and analysis.
? Prepare monthly cash flow forecast.
? Prepare payment requests for Finance Controller Asia to approve.
? Issue VAT invoices (including credit notes) and purchase blank invoices. Verification for input VAT.
? Monthly reconciliation with customers and collect payments.
? Assist in the setup of financial database during the UFIDA implementation.
? Give suggestions on enhancement on internal controls.
? Monthly tax declaration, deal with tax bureau for routine requirements. Assist in annual audit and tax inspection.
? Other ad-hoc requirements.
C) KEY CHALLENGES IN JOB:
? To deliver the required levels of service to the Finance Controller Asia.
? To be able to work with the operations team.
? To utilise UFIDA in the most effective, efficient way to produce accurate and reliable results against tight deadlines.
? To work to the utmost standards of integrity and best practise.
D) ORGANISATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The job holder will report directly to the Finance Controller Asia.
E) JOB HOLDER - REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS:
The job holder must be a responsible individual who is conscientious, has good judgement and works to high standards of quality and integrity. Specifically:
? Technical skills:
Strong accounting skills for Chinese compliance. Thorough understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow management. Thorough costing and management accounting understanding. Sound knowledge of stock accounting principles.
? Integrity:
The job holder must work with the utmost honesty and integrity.
? Communication skills:
Fluent in English and Mandarin. The job holder must write and speak in a clear, concise fashion and be able to communicate with non-financial team members and negotiate with and influence operations colleagues and commercial colleagues internationally.
? Results Orientation:
Must be self motivated, conscientious and be able to understand the overall objective in order to best provide meaningful input. The job holder must be proactive and accept responsibility to regularly provide feedback and status reports to the Group Finance Director and Shanghai and Singapore Managers.
? Management/Interpersonal skills:
Ability and respect to establish productive working relationships with a variety of contacts.
? Information technology skills:
Must be entirely comfortable working with both PC and ERP package UFIDA, although prior experience desirable but not required.
F) QUALIFICATIONS/WORK EXPERIENCE:
