职位描述
Required Skills and Prior Experience:
Experienced, trustworthy, loyal and enthusiastic male or female individual which has a senior and self-confident appearance and a positive attitude and personality
Substantial experience in the Mainland Chinese wine market with 5 - 8 years experience in wine distribution with significant importers / distributors in China (on-trade and off-trade) and / or in wine promotion for international wineries and / or in the wine selection and promotion for large hotels or restaurants
Ideally, the individual has gained in the past some managerial experience leading a team or managing a number of employees
Sound skills and understanding of international wines, wine regions as well as wine styles and the ability to express his/her and other people's views on certain wines
Entrepreneurial spirit in building a new business from scratch with a focussed and committed team with the desire to participate in the upside
Self-motivating and self-directed individual with the ability to build a team and lead the realisation of the business plan
Ability to lead and host wine tasting events and dinners and thus promoting new and emerging wines and wine brands to Chinese distributors, on-trade customers and high-end Chinese private customers
Fluency in English and Mandarin; German language skills a plus but not necessary
Openess to travel extensively in China as well as occasionally to Germany
Job Description:
Taking the responsibility and lead in developing the selling and distribution system for German Fine Wine and realisation of the jointly established business plan leveraging a well-funded business for a couple of years and existing exclusive relationships with high-end, renowned German winery brands
Being responsible for all aspects of establishing and running the business in China and in building the right team of 3-5 additional people to realize the business plan
Driving the promotion acitivities to establish the German wine brands in China and thus being the most senior sales person in China
Selecting, establishing and managing the relationships with the key local distribution partners in Mainland China in particular in the regions of Beijing, Shanghai and Fujian province
