Responsibilities:

Lead cost-effective pigment dispersion development and optimization for CCL coatings

1.1 Develop economic pigment dispersion to drive CCL PCM coating development and launch for new targeted markets.

1.2 Develop high concentrated pigment dispersion to drive China & Group HDP coating development. 

1.3 Drive lean manufacturing of CCL coatings via utilizing the latest technology and design concept

1.4 Guide and provide required training for associate chemists and technicians. Monitor experimental design, result analysis, and further plan on daily basis.

1.5 Actively involve in coating technical problem solving from pigment dispersion aspects

1.6 Work with product technical team, QC, manufacturing, sourcing to establish best practice process to improve color qualities

1.7 Conduct scientific and systematic researches for experiment design, problem investigation, and result validation.

2. QHSE

2.1 Follow company safety and 5S regulations.

2.2  Implement internal QHSE standards to ensure safe lab operations.

2.3 Participate in safety training and meetings actively.

Requirements:

1、Master or Ph.D degree of Science, Technology or Engineering. Preferably in Polymer Chemistry/ Polymer Physics/ Chemicals.

2、0~10 years in formulation or application of coatings, adhesive, inks or raw material companies. Experience in coil coating or pigment dispersion is preferable.

3、Sophisticated knowledge on coating formulation (coil coating is preferable), application, and the relevant raw materials. DOE is preferable.

4、"Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and good sense on project/time management. 

5、Work well under pressure. Good communications to multiple levels of the organization. A good team player. "
