Technical
Leader( resin)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

R&D
Project Execution

1. Lead the polymer project to
   develop new polymers with proper property and new technologies for different
   BUs.

2. Strengthen resin technology
   platform by building know-how and technology capability

3. Provide technical support for
   different BUs such as formulation, technical service and regulatory to promote
   the delivery of resin research and development. If necessary, be on customer's
   site

4. Improve and optimize the
   present products to improve the quality and to reduce the cost.

5. Advise on and drive scale-up of
   development products at the pilot or production scale.

6. Supervising junior chemist and
   technician for related resin project.

7. Proper documentation of observations
   and results of developed products.

8. Search and introduce latest
   technology to help expand business.

Basic
Analytical Tests

1. Perform
analytical tests for developed chemicals or polymer.

2. Analyze
competitor products.

3. If necessary, transfer
product for external analytical tests.

Knowledge
Management

1. Highlight ideas &
   developments could lead to IP

2. Contributes to invention
   reports.

EHS
& 5S

1. Maintain lab equipment and EHS
   & 5S responsibilities

2. Keep the lab in a safe mode to
   meet the EHS target.

CANDIDATE
QUALIFICATIONS

? Hold MS degree or PhD (preferred) from a
university recognized for its strong education in polymer or materials science.

? Have 5+years’ experience in industrial
environment polymer synthesis, preferably with a global chemical company with
broad exposure to a range of related technologies (analytical, process
chemistry, polymer physical science, etc.);

? R&D experience on resin synthesis (
prefer polyester and related resin synthesis) or coating formulation is a plus.

? Have proven track on team management and project
management in multiple projects.

? Good oral and written English.
